ABOUT US

Aloha! We’re Pua and Kara, Co-Owners of fearLESS CPR.

As best friends and proud Native Hawaiian women, we are the founders of a certified

mana wahine owned and operated business, deeply rooted in service, culture, and community.

Together, we bring over 30 years of combined experience in the medical field, and we’ve

built our business with a shared commitment to empowering others through lifesaving

education and resources.

Our mission is to empower individuals, families, and organizations with the confidence

and skills to respond effectively during emergencies—with aloha and excellence.

Rooted in our cultural values and professional expertise, fearLESS CPR is more than a business— it’s our way of giving back and helping our communities thrive safely,

confidently and fearlessly.

Pua Tuulima
Founder | Co-Owner

As a Founder and Co-Owner of fearLESS CPR,
I am proud to bring high-quality instruction, dynamic energy, and a wealth of real-world medical expertise to every class we offer.

With over 20 years of frontline experience as a Paramedic, I’ve responded to countless critical situations that have shaped my approach to emergency care and training.

My background equips me to teach not just the "how," but the "why" behind every life-saving skill.

I am also a certified and experienced

American Heart Association Instructor, specializing in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). My instruction emphasizes confidence, competence, and cultural care —ensuring that each student leaves empowered to act in emergencies.

I have a deep passion for serving others, and it’s an honor to share my knowledge and experiences with our community, families, and professionals throughout Hawai‘i.

Kara Tavita
Founder | Co-Owner

As a Founder and Co-Owner of fearLESS CPR,
I bring a high-quality, approachable, and engaging energy to every class—making learning both effective and enjoyable for students of all backgrounds.

With over 15 years of experience in healthcare administration, I’ve worked extensively alongside the American Heart Association and within the prehospital emergency medical services (EMS) field. This background has given me a deep understanding of both the operational and educational aspects of emergency preparedness

and training.

I am a certified American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Instructor, and I’m passionate about creating a supportive, empowering environment where students feel confident and capable. Helping individuals build their "fearLESSness" and develop life-saving skills that can truly make a difference is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.

I love teaching and look forward to learning and growing together with each one of you.
